Vung Tau was known as Cap Saint-Jacques under French occupation. It is just 125 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City . Once this seaside resort was a popular beach destination for French and American service man. Vung Tau is one of the popular seaside resorts of Vietnam with sandy beaches, transparent warm blue water all the year round. Vung Tau offers a good relaxation trip on prime beach caressed by the cool breeze from transparent warm blue waters
Mekong delta is about 40.000 square kilometers (km2) in area. And it is known as one of the widest and richest delta in ASEAN, in Vietnam it is considered as the biggest granary of Vietnam (the second one is Red River delta in the North of Vietnam), it provides 60% of nation’s rice. Besides that, Mekong delta is the place of different tropical fruits such as durian, coconut, banana, pineapple, dragon fruit… and when people come here they can enjoy the seasonal fruits all round year.
       

Tour Details:
Day 1: HOME – HCMC
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, warmest reception by our representative then transfer to a local restaurant for dinner. Afterwards, proceed to hotel for check-in.
Visit Ben Thanh night market
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 2: HCMC – CU CHI – VUNG TAU (B)
After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Transfer to Vung Tau, situated 125km southeast of Ho Chi Minh city. It is a famous beach resort with long white sandy beaches and warm water whole year round. Enjoy swimming and relaxing at the beach. Overnight in Vung Tau.
Day 3: VUNG TAU – HCMC (B)
After breakfast, take Vung Tau city tour including Christ Hill (St. Jacque Janerio), 18 meters high Goddess of Mercy, Back beach, Whale Temple dedicated to whales considered as the rescuing gods for Vietnamese fisherman in the east sea and Tam Thang Temple. Return to Ho Chi Minh city with visits The War Museum, The Reunification Palace, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office, a lacquer ware factory and handicraft center.
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 4: HCMC – MY THO – HCMC (B)
After breakfast, transfer to My Tho with the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along
the journey. Arrive My Tho and get on a boat trip up Mekong River with a stop at the Thoi Son islet to
taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your
bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. Enjoy an adventurous sampan ride in palm shading
creeks. Then take the big boat to visit Hong Van Garden, visit bee farm, taste coconut candy, and drink
tea – honey – lime here. Lunch to be served with the Mekong Delta specialties ex.: elephant ear fish, big
headed prawn, spring rolls, etc. (excluded). Transfer back to HCMC

Day 5: HCMC – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, free time for shopping till transferring to airport for departure.
End of tour.
