BA BE LAKE: Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs, which in turn are covered by primary forests. Ba Be Lake is a featured geographical science and is a biodiversity reservoir. It is a part of the Ba Be National Park.

CAO BANG, which lies on the Quây SÆ¡n River, in Ngọc Khê commune, in Trùng Khánh district has many mountains, forests, rivers and springs throughout. The area near Ban Doc Waterfall is a well known scenic tourist site. The city of Cao Bang had many buildings of World War II vintage of French design, which were in ruins, but since rebuilt. There is an 'Exhibition Centre' in the town where the history of the revolutionary struggle in Vietnam, which originated in this province, is displayed along with a vintage car of Ho Chi Minh, bearing registration number 'BAC 808.

Tour Detail:
Day 1: HANOI - BA BE     
Early morning, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi and drive to Ba Be (250km). Stop over for visiting the Tay minority. Arrival in Ba Be, take a boat on the Nang River, visit Ba Be Lake, Puong Grotto, Dau Dang waterfall, Window Island and Pac Ngoi Village (Tay minority). Overnight home-stay in Pac Ngoi Village
Day 2: BA BE - CAO BANG - BAN DOC (B)         
After breakfast, depart for Cao Bang (110km). Arrive in Cao Bang, visit Phuoc Sen village of Nung people, a small village famous for producing farming tools.
Then transfer to Ban Gioc Waterfall (85km).
Arrive in Ban Doc waterfall, at leisure for relaxing, taking photos and enjoying the most beautiful waterfall of Vietnam.
Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.
Day 3: CAO BANG - HANOI (B)
Leave Cao Bang and transfer back to Hanoi (310km) in the morning. On the way back, stop for visiting the village where tobacco is produced.
Visit the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen.
Drop off at your hotel upon arrival.
